Our story
A local firm built on trees, not marketing.
Evergreen Tree Care was founded by Charlie Joyce to do tree surgery properly — with the right kit, the right qualifications, and the honesty to tell a customer when a job doesn't need doing. Ten years on, we're still an owner-led outfit: the person who quotes your work is the person on site running the crew.
We specialise in domestic tree surgery across Amersham, Chesham, Beaconsfield, the Chalfonts, Gerrards Cross, Great Missenden and the wider HP-postcode belt. That means mature oaks, beech, ash, sycamore, limes, cherries and conifers in gardens ranging from cottage plots in Old Amersham to walled kitchen gardens in Beaconsfield and estate parkland out towards Prestwood.
Most of our work is repeat and referral. Estate agents, property managers, insurers and landscape architects call us because we turn up when we say we will, price the job clearly, and leave the site tidier than we found it. Homeowners call us back because we didn't oversell the first job.

Every cut is made to industry best practice. We reduce back to appropriate secondary growth points — we don't top trees, and we won't 'shape' a mature tree into something it isn't.

Registered Waste Carrier
All arisings removed under our Environment Agency waste carrier registration. Chip on site, log stack for you, or full off-take — your choice.

Fixed price for defined scope, or a day rate for open-ended clearance. You know the number before we start. No surprise 'clearance' invoice at the end.
Guarantee on every job
If something isn't right after we've left, we come back and put it right. That applies whether the job was £200 or £5,000.
Honest advice
If a tree doesn't need work, we'll say so. If a neighbour's tree is the real problem, we'll say that too. We'd rather earn a repeat customer than sell an unneeded job.
